We have developed three specific, synthetic rugby turf products which are designed to meet and exceed the IRB requirements. All products have been developed in consultation with rugby coaches and rugby players.

ZENITH TRI-SPORTS 65

This product uses the Bonar Spine yarn which is a monofilament material which provides excellent durability which is key requirement for Rugby Football. The product developed by Zenith Sports Surfaces has exceeded 20,000 cycles on a stud roll machines, which replicates wear and tear. The product has been installed on two small pitches in the UK, as well as a training area in Presentation College, Bray, specifically for rugby.

It is laid on a pre-fabricated shock pad in order to achieve the IRB's HIC requirements

ZEN RUGBY 65 MF

This is another alternative premium product which has been installed for two professional rugby teams: Newcastle Falcons and Leinster Lions Rugby. Both clubs required a yarn that is durable but also soft to feel and touch. The pitches which have been installed since 2007 are full size rugby pitches and are used by professional rugby players.
