With that in mind, we would like to highlight some of the other advantages of working with Pride Sports & Leisure, and what sets us apart from our competitors;
1) We have our own full-time, fully-trained installation crew, who install all our synthetic surfaces thus ensuring high quality installations on every job. Smaller contractors sub-contract to freelance crews in England and Continental Europe. These crews are always on a square-metre rate and therefore their installations are often rushed and unsatisfactory.
2) If any problems arise on site, our crew can be on site within 24 hours to answer any questions, and take remedial action if necessary. Sub-contracted crews can take days or even weeks to visit site, and sometimes longer again to remedy problems as they have to travel from England and beyond.
3) Our comprehensive 8-year warranty reflects this, as it covers the materials, infill and workmanship. As other contractors sub-contract the installation, they are only willing to cover the materials in their warranty as they cannot guarantee the quality of workmanship. Also, most of our competitors warranties are for a period of only 5 years.
4) Pride Sports & Leisure stitch all our seams between carpet-joints to give increased strength at the joints. This gives added peace-of-mind as it ensures that the seams between rolls of carpet never fail, and can be installed in all weather conditions. Our competitors’ glued seams often fail as they can weaken over time, and can also fail to set properly if the pitch is installed in cold and/or wet conditions.
5) Pride Sports & Leisure were the first company to install a FIFA 2-Star pitch in Northern Ireland at Moyola Park FC, Castledawson. We have also installed FIFA Accredited Pitches at Kingscourt Harps AFC, Dundalk FC, Douglas Hall FC, Greystones FC and many others. 6) We use a select list of proven Civil's Contractors on all our projects as we understand the importance of providing a durable, free-draining sub-base beneath our synthetic surfaces. After all, there is no point in choosing the best free-draining synthetic surface available if the civils-preparation is not up to standard, and holds water for example. All preparatory works are carried out under our strict observation.
7) We invested in our own Manufacturing Plant that supplies us with all our synthetic surfaces. This means that we are the only contractor in Ireland that manufactures, supplies, installs and maintains synthetic pitches! This provides additional peace-of-mind for all our customers as it ensures that we can exercise strict quality control measures from the minute the surface is ordered, until the day it is installed and beyond-when we conduct our scheduled maintenance.
