Pride Sports & Leisure was established in 1993 to supply, install, and maintain custom quality synthetic grass surfaces for the sports and leisure industry.
We are dedicated to all-weather surfaces - it is the only business we are involved in.
The company originally offered domestic users and golf courses, artificial tee mats and putting greens. However, since 1997 we have also been installing surfaces for a variety of other sports, including GAA Football & Hurling, Soccer, Rugby, Hockey, and Tennis, as well as safety grasses for creches, playgrounds, and gardens.
Our installation staff is fully trained in the installation and maintenance of all-weather pitches, and all are full time employees of Pride Sports & Leisure. We do not employ sub-contractors to install our carpets. We own and operate all machinery necessary to install and maintain all-weather installations.
We have Full Public Liability and Employer's Liability Insurance, as well as Contractor's All Risks.
Pride Sports & Leisure offer a complete `turn-key` operation for clubs, schools, local authorities or individuals, ranging from base work, fencing, and floodlighting, through to the installation of the carpet.
Alternatively, if our all-weather surface is the only requirement, we will work in conjunction with all other third parties to ensure a professional installation.

In 2009 PS&L invested in our own manufacturing plant for the manufacture of our own sports surfaces as this allows us to have full control of quality and service. The PS&L Group has designed and built sports surfaces throughout Ireland for leading clubs and County Grounds: Cavan County Board, Ballyboden St Enda’s, Moyola FC, Waterford Institute Of Technology, Dundalk FC, Kingscourt Harps,to name just a few.
Pride Sports & Leisure provides a "one stop" shop for synthetic sports surfaces and can provide whatever a club needs for their installation - from GAA Code of Compliance pitches, to FIH Approved surface options for Hockey, IRB Approved surfaces for Rugby, plus FIFA Approved surfaces for Soccer.
Pride Sports & Leisure has core areas of business and these are:
- Manufacturing synthetic sports turf for all major sports from the company's facility in the UK
- Manufacturing residential artificial turf for domestic & leisure markets
- Design, construction, install and maintenance of synthetic turf systems
